Alamo Placita neighborhood is where you’ll find a collection of turn-of-the-century Victorians and bungalows, specialty shops, and casual eateries.

Architecture and Homes

In 2000, the Denver Landmark Preservation Commission unanimously recommended designation of the Alamo Placita Historic District based on the significance of its history, architecture, and geography. There are beautiful Victorian, Spanish Mission-style and Tudor-style dwellings. Just south of Capitol Hill, Alamo Placita is a quiet neighborhood nestled in between the more bustling neighborhoods of Cherry Creek and Downtown. The historic neighborhood has a small-town feel while being located near the urban core of Denver.

The neighborhood also provides wonderful access to the Cherry Creek bike path and is situated perfectly between downtown Denver and the Cherry Creek area.
