Bible, a long-time Denver Parks and Recreation employee, and features a beautiful 1.7-mile walking trail around the park (which parallels the Highline Canal). You’ll find many a sports team, whether lacrosse, football, baseball, soccer or softball, practicing and playing games on the fields. The walking paths are popular among runners, cyclists and dog walkers, and you can enjoy a break at the many benches and picnic tables dotting the landscape.
The Highline Canal and trail form the perimeter of Bible Park but the Goldsmith Gulch trail also cuts through Bible Park. Other popular parks in Hampden neighborhood include Hampden Heights and Hentzel Park. Cherry Creek and the accompanying bike path runs along Hentzel Park.
