Recreation and Culture of the Northfield Neighborhood

A number of parks dot the landscape at Northfield neighborhood. You’ll find Northfield Pond, Runway 35, Conservatory Green Pocket, The Green (North) and Willow Basin Parks. In addition, the massive Dick’s Sporting Goods Park serves as Northfield neighborhood’s boundary to the north. The Dick’s Sporting Goods Stadium is home turf for the Colorado Rapids team, and also hosts concerts and special events. Many local youth teams use the 24 playing fields for games each week.

Furthermore, the Sand Creek Regional Greenway cuts through Northfield. This 14.6 mile paved and unpaved path begins in Commerce City and stretches along Sand Creek all the way to Aurora Sports Park. People love cycling, running and walking along this outdoor treasure.
